John grew up in the restaurant business; his family owned and operated a restaurant and tavern named Busty’s that his grandparents opened in 1936. As a child every week Johns father Jack would bring home records often called 45s that were taken out of the Juke Box. As the collection of records grew and the boxes were becoming stacked in his room John realized he had to do something with them instead of just listening to them so at 16 years old he went to Radio Shack and purchased two turntables and a microphone with money he made working at the pizza shop down the street. It wasn’t long after that he collaborated with his best friend Ron and they started their first DJ business together. Their first job was an eighth grade dance at the local middle school. It was a success and John was hooked on the trembles of treble and the booms of bass. Throughout his early Adult hood and a career as a police officer John continued to DJ going from small school dances to large corporate events and then to weddings. John is a retired police officer now and his passion for DJing has become front and center. He spends most of his weekends spinning records for couples getting married and when he does find a weekend that has some free time you can find him riding his Harley Davidson up and down the East Coast or just hanging out with his family and friends on the Chesapeake Bay.
