We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. DJ John kept everyone on the dance floor for our 6 hour reception. He made sure to play all of our key songs, and was very flexible with song changes that we had throughout the night. We really enjoyed John Cicala as our wedding Dj. He was very helpful, easy going and very nice when he first met with us to go over everything since we had no idea what we were doing. He ended up meeting with us a couple of times just to make sure everything was good. During the wedding, he was great. He played the songs that we sent him and even played some that weren’t on the list but everyone loved the playlist. I will say though, I was bummed that he didn’t come and dance with us on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else that is getting married and I’m glad he was our Dj. John really came to our rescue! Our previous DJ had to step back due to an unbreakable engagement. John stepped in and the transition process was easy and clean. He set up a phone zoom call quickly and we were able to go over the basic outline. Any doubts or fears I had about using a DJ we didn’t know previous were put to rest almost immediately. Leading up to the day it was another round of calls where we could iron out more detail. If I wasn’t sure about something it was great to be honest with John knowing he’ll give an honest answer back. John was extremely helpful and a joy to work with during the planning process, and absolutely made our wedding the party we dreamt of hosting. He was detail oriented yet flexible. He made sure to get peoples names correctly pronounced and our schedule for the night laid out in advance, which helped reduce our planning stress! He was very accommodating to special music requests, last minute schedule and music changes, and seamlessly integrated with our other vendors and day-of-coordinator. Our wedding and venue had a lot of unique and challenging aspects (fire performances, custom lighting, remote/difficult to access location, and more) and John was able to exceed our expectations. The music list spanned almost every genre and he was able to bring it all together into a cohesive experience that had all the guests dancing until the end of the night! We wholeheartedly recommend DJ John Cicala!
