We could not have been happier to have Dan as our DJ! He was professional, communicative, and so friendly right from the start. He took the time the day before to learn the venue, meet hotel staff, meet us, and our officiant. This allowed us to do a quick sound check for our ceremony. On the day of our wedding Dan was prepared and brought incredible energy. Music was flowing perfectly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. He kept the timeline of our reception events (speeches, dances, cake cutting, etc.) working perfectly. When it came time for us and our guests to just enjoy the night dancing Dan kept the music, energy, and party going the whole night! Our dance floor was overflowing almost the entire time! He played songs we had planned for as well as others that perfectly fit the vibe we were going for. At the end of the night he seamlessly transitioned the end of the event with our last song, our private last dance, and helping guests head to our after party at the bar. We are so grateful to have had Dan as our DJ for our wedding!

Dan was the best!! He was extremely nice and helped us with any questions that we had. We really wanted to make sure that the dance floor was filled all night and Dan made that happen. He played great songs and really kept the crowd alive. I could not recommend him more!

DJ Dan Breslin was absolutely amazing for our wedding. He was communicative throughout the planning process, checked in enough times for us to feel completely comfortable, and made sure every moment and song we wanted was covered perfectly. He was fun, animated and presentable. Our guests had a great time, and so many people commented on how much they loved the music. We also loved working with Silver Sound because they offer so much more than just DJ services. We booked the DJ, sparktaculars, and photo booth all in one place, which made everything so much easier. The sparktaculars were such a fun addition and created so many amazing moments for our wedding. I highly recommend DJ Dan Breslin and Silver Sound Entertainment to anyone looking for a team that is professional and organized.

Dan did a great job with our wedding! The pre wedding phone call was super helpful to go over song choices for specific moments and Dan executed each moment so well. Dan communicated well throughout the wedding. Music during cocktail hour and dinner were perfect to allow for conversation and creating a great ambiance.

Dan is a great addition to anyones big day! From our first call to the last song on our wedding day, Dan was professional, personable and just flat out great at what he does. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone was saying how much they fun they had for days after. Dan offered to get us food/drink if we needed it and went above and beyond to help coordinate the reception timeline with the venue coordinator to help the day flow smoothly. He made our day special and unique to us and we had an amazing party. We would absolutely recommend Silver Sound Entertainment and especially Dan to any soon-to-be-wed couple :)

DJ Dan Breslin was a great match for our wedding. He arrived on time, had everything ready to go, and played all the right songs throughout the night. His energy and professionalism stood out in the best way. We mostly connected during the week of the wedding, but that was all we really needed. He made things simple and was very easy to communicate with. Once the dancing kicked off, everything felt natural and fun. Dan was easy to work with and handled everything without needing much from us. I definitely felt like we made the right choice by having him there. Everything just felt right with him behind the booth.

When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we realized it was going to be difficult to really pick someone we felt we would mesh well with, would work with us to meet the vibe we were looking for and keep people out on the dance floor all night. We met with quite a few DJs but Dan made us feel comfortable from the beginning. After reading many of his excellent reviews we decided to choose him as our DJ. As the wedding neared, he met with us to make sure he understood what songs we wanted played, how the timeline would be laid out for the ceremony and reception and made sure he knew what we wanted out of the night. The day of the wedding, he arrived early and setup everything for the ceremony and the reception. He took time to meet with us again to make sure he had everything correct for the night ahead. He did an excellent job keeping things moving from the introductions (great mic skills), to first dances, to the speeches, and keeping the guests informed with what was going on throughout the night. He also helped us surprise our guests with a special YMCA dance/remix with our daughters that kicked off the dancing for the reception. He played a lot of the songs we wanted to hear but also mixed in some other songs that catered to the different age groups at our wedding. The guests stayed on the dance floor all night and I even had one of my guests tell me she never dances at weddings and spent the entire night on the dance floor. Dan was extremely professional but also easy going and continued to check in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how things were going. Omg I have so many good things to say about Dan. His personality is the BEST, he was so funny, kind, and caring around all of my needs on my wedding day. The songs were all played as requested. He let me introduce my cousin 1 year anniversary first dance song which was amazing. All of my friends and family loved the music he played from my youngest cousin of 21 up until my grandmother who is 84, everyone was out there dancing. It’s so funny how highly recommended he came from Barn on Bridge after I just picked him out from listening to voices off Silver Sound’s website! My aunt told me a funny story she went to get off the dance floor to go see my other aunt and said “another good song came on so I turned around and went back to the dance floor”. I will highly recommend Dan to anyone asking for a DJ! The photobooth was a HIT. The attendant was amazing and ensured enough copies were printed out. He even took the time to make sure we got a big photo of all of my bridesmaids and groomsman. Props were super cute and fun, matched the vibe of the wedding!

Dan Breslin was the best DJ for our wedding!! Leading up to our wedding Dan communicated with us numerous times. The sound quality was spot on, and our guests had an absolute blast on the dance floor. It was nearly impossible to get anyone to sit down because the dance floor was so alive. Dan went above and beyond, doing everything we asked for and more. He communicated with us throughout the entire evening, making sure everything was going according to plan. What really stood out was how thoughtful he was with song requests. Every time someone asked for something, he checked with us first before playing it. Dan did a really fantastic job with our wedding. He had a great playlist, read the room well and was able to adapt on the fly, and was easy to communicate with prior to and during our wedding. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and most of them can’t keep or even get people on the dance floor. Ours was packed the whole night even after the slow dances it came right back to life; not a single lull. We were more than satisfied with DJ Dan and Silver Sound. My now wife’s sister also has DJ Dan and Silver Sound booked for her upcoming wedding and we are excited to live it up another night on the dance floor, this time as guests!

From the start, Dan was incredibly easy to work with. We exchanged emails, texts, and had meetings a handful of times. This helped both of us feel confident going into our wedding day. Once the dancing started, my wife and I barely left the dance floor...unless we were pulled away for pictures! The music was exactly what we hoped for, and our guests loved it too. Dan has done over 1000 events and I can guarantee this was the hardest for him logistically. We had 3 different set ups for sound needed ant our venue and it was all changed minutes before the ceremony because it began to DOWNPOUR! Dan was ON IT! We had to completely rearrange the schedule for the day because of the rain, meaning Dan had to be in between all 3 sets to make sure they were set up and ready to go. On top of all of that, we had playlist in mind that the crowd was not responding to, so we gave him approval to do what he does best and we couldn’t have been happier the way it came out. Our guests were extremely impressed by Dan taking charge for the crazy day. Rob and I couldnt have done it without him!! Highly recommend! Extremely talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with! Also! We planned this wedding start to finish in 60 days and he was very accommodating and was extremely helpful from day one, even with the time crunch.

Dan was an extremely professional, organized and friendly DJ throughout the planning process and on the day of our event. After selecting Dan as our DJ, we met to discuss our ideas/plans for our wedding reception. In this meeting we started to get to know each other through a brief conversation and felt that Dans friendly and easy-going demeanor were a great fit for us. Dan provided us with the resources that we needed to start creating our playlist, and was available throughout for questions without being too overbearing or involved with planning, as some other wedding vendors can be. On the day of the event, Dan arrived on-time and immediately introduced himself to my wife and myself. Dan connected himself directly with the event planners to start his setup independently so that none of that was our responsibility to sort out while trying to get ready for guests to arrive. During setup, Dan reconfirmed some our expectations with regards to the playlist/requests/etc. to ensure that we were all aligned one final time before the event began. My wife and I assumed that our guests would want to spend their Sunday afternoons relaxing and talking so we crafted our playlist accordingly. After dinner however, our guests were lively and wanted to dance! Dan was able to go off-playlist and really livened up the event by taking over the song selection and taking requests from the crowd. By the last song, most of the guests in the event were up and dancing, which was facilitated by Dans improvisation. Overall we really appreciated Dans contribution to our wedding celebration and we would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a professional, fun and collaborative DJ.

We worked with DJ Dan Breslin from Silver Sounds for our wedding this February, and were not disappointed. We had a very specific vibe we were going for, far from the traditional wedding playlist. Dan was open to our requests, and expertly worked in nearly every song we requested. He also avoided every song we put on our do not play. He was great at monitoring the crowd, knowing when to cut a song short or let the full song play. I could also tell he was having fun which made the whole atmosphere better. He arrived to the event early, set up his stand and the extra up-lights (which were a great add for our venue). He also took all of our calls during the planning phase, making us feel assured he knew the style we were going for. We would recommend him and Silver Sound to anyone looking for a DJ.

He played our requested songs and even made sure to announce when the song was for our son. He took the time out to come and talk to us and make sure everything was good for the reception. He even came over and just made sure we were okay and enjoying ourselves. Dan was truly amazing and I couldnt imagine having a different dj. Dan was absolutely amazing for our wedding! I first met him 4 years ago at my sister’s wedding and we had an absolute blast that night. As soon as Justin and I got engaged, I told him that I had the DJ covered. I honestly couldn’t imagine having anyone else at our wedding besides Dan. He is so personable, fun to interact with, and ultimately wanted us to be happy the whole night. After talking to him a few days before the wedding and telling him the vibe we were going for (aka keep everyone on the dance floor all night long), he took everything we said and more than delivered the night of the wedding. The sound quality of the system outside at the ceremony and during the reception was great, so we didn’t have to worry about crackling speakers or microphones cutting in and out. Dan made sure to keep things on schedule, checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was good, gave suggestions about playing certain songs at different times, made the right announcements, etc. When I tell you that every single person who was there has told us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, I’m not even exaggerating. We keep receiving compliments for how amazing the DJ was and how great the music selection was all night. There’s usually a lull when people feel like they can leave the dance floor to go to the bathroom or get another drink, but so many people said they didn’t want to leave at all because Dan kept playing hit after hit. The combination of music kept everyone on their toes and really catered towards every age demographic we had there from people in their 20s through people in their 70s. All I wanted was for our guests to have fun and because of Dan, we definitely accomplished that. He is the absolute best and I hope I get to attend another DJ Dan wedding in the future!

We can not thank Dan enough for being such an integral part of our wedding day. Before the wedding during our pre-wedding meeting, we instantly felt comfortable with him and his experience. It was amazing to know that he had been to our venue multiple times (Normandy Farm Grand Ballroom) and knew exactly where and how to set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. Throughout the entire wedding, he was the one to keep the timeline going, and was constantly checking in on us. Weve had multiple people of all ages saying the music was amazing, from my 70 year old uncle, to our 30 year old friends. We had an incredible experience working with DJ Dan Breslin for our wedding. Dan communicated with us clearly throughout our wedding planning process, answered our questions thoroughly, and met with us for over an hour during the week of our wedding to review our gameplan in detail. He was knowledgeable about our unique venue (Moshulu in Philadelphia) and made tailored recommendations based on what has worked well in that space previously (e.g., uplighting). Dan also took the time to understand our music preferences and vision for our reception. On the day of our wedding, everything was executed perfectly! Dan was on time, extremely prepared, and communicated with us throughout the evening. He did a masterful job of reading the crowd and kept the party going until the very end of the event! We also had Marshall McKahan controlling the sparktacular effect units, which were the perfect dramatic, romantic touch for our introduction and first dance. We can’t recommend working with Dan (and Marshall!) enough!

SO GOOD!!! DJ Dan was fantastic! He took the time to walk through all the details of the very special moments we wanted at the reception, executed perfectly the song/sound design we wanted for the ceremony and party, kept everything moving seamlessly but without it feeling like rushed, and had just the right balance of encouraging a party and dance vibe. I was convinced that our guests would not be so into dancing — we had a slightly older crowd, and with lots of folks wary of COVID, I thought it was going to be a lot more sedentary at the reception. DJ Dan predicted he would get people wilding out on the dance floor, and he was 100% correct, like as soon as we gave them the chance, people were so excited to dance! Music means a lot to me, and Dan played all the songs and made all the dedications I was hoping for, and even checked to make sure he had the exact versions of each special song that I wanted. Our wedding was all I had hoped for and more, and DJ Dan was a big part of why. And Silver Sound’s online client portal and forms to communicate all our plans and song list, from selecting our package to selecting DJ Dan, it could not have been easier or more perfect for me.

From day one we loved working with Dan. Despite planning the majority of our wedding during a pandemic, we felt like we were in good hands with him. Not only did he play all the songs we wanted, he also confirmed everything the day of, including exactly when (to the exact second!) we wanted our entrance song to start. He worked well with our officiant and was able to seamlessly connect our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception into one timeless night. I dont think the dance floor was ever empty. He even let my husband and I take the mic to thank everyone for celebrating with us. We thought we made some rather strange requests with our music style (50s Elvis, lots of 80s Billy Joel, even some current day Kygo hits), but he was so accommodating. Thank you, Dan!

Where to even begin with DJ Dan. As a postponed wedding, Dan had worked with us to plan our wedding for almost two years. He ended up with two set ups, in two different indoor locations, to make sure our guests could dance comfortably inside, ultimately creating the wedding we had dreamed of before the pandemic. When it came to the reception, he constantly checked in on my husband and I, making sure we had whatever we needed. He met with us in the bridal suite, checked in on us during dinner, and overall kept us on schedule so we could thank our guests while having hours to dance after. He had EVERYONE out on the dance floor until the last song of the night. So many of our guests have told us our reception was the best one they have ever been to and the only reception where everyone danced. Our wedding was one of the first events people felt comfortable at since the pandemic began, and I credit much of this to the experience Dan provided. Looking back at our day, he was a constant calming presence, and I honestly believe he played one of the biggest roles in making our night one to remember. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Dan Breslin was a great MC and DJ start to finish at our wedding ceremony and reception. Before the event, we spoke multiple times to coordinate everything from the order of events to music. He was able to fetch even the most obscure songs to play for us, and Dan listened to our ideas and provided his own to make sure our day went perfectly. He was also very accommodating to our outdoor ceremony, and came equipped with battery packs and plenty of speakers to fill the event with great sound. The day of the event we met briefly, and from there everything was as smooth as silk! When my husband & I went to a bridal show at the venue we booked (Merion Tribute House), we met Dan at the Silver Sound Entertainment table. He asked us about our desires for our big day without being too intrusive. We had a good experience just talking with him about weddings & some trivial things about the weekend as well. When it came time for us to book a DJ, we immediately thought of Dan-he was charismatic, described as a hype man, & was really easy to talk to. The portal for everything Silversound was pretty easy to navigate & it was nice to get every detail about all the dj’s we browsed. Dan responded via email in a timely manner & was thorough and concise with his responses. Our phone call review the week before the wedding was great-he went over every little detail my husband & I completed on the online portal contract down to the pronunciation of my matron of honors last name. Our reception music was easy-listening & I knew Dan had it covered. I was pleasantly surprised as he approached me to make sure details with the entrances of the bridal party were covered, asked if I needed more time before guests were served dinner, & adjusted the volume as needed to our requests. Dan worked effortlessly with our catering team & photographer to ensure everything worked seamlessly for our event to go on without a hitch. My favorite part of the evening-the DANCING- was well-accompanied by the playlist we built & Dan adjusted to his and our discretion. I don’t think that the dance floor was empty once we got started. Dan was excellent with his announcement skills-don’t underestimate something as simple as this, because it really does set the tone for an event. He was not overpowering or commanding, but very clear and direct. He was so easy to work with and flexible enough to work with our desires. Dan did an amazing job. He arrived hours early to the venue and worked extremely well our other vendors - the videographer and the photographer. What I really liked about Dan was that he made multiple efforts to come and check in on us throughout the night to make sure everything was going well. He did not just stand behind the booth the whole time, he really wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. The other thing I really liked about Dan (besides the fact he went to Villanova and so did our entire wedding party), but he took the time to meet with us multiple times before the wedding to go over the schedule for the entire day, what key songs we wanted played when, and he made sure he was pronouncing everyones full names correctly. It was nice to not have to worry about any issues that might occur in the DJ department, as I have heard horror stories from other friends. The biggest take away is that I would 100% recommend Dan Breslin.

Dan was very diligent and easy to work with. He continually checked in with us to make sure we were having a good time as well as our guests. It all seem to be too short of a party because honestly thats what happens when you are having fun. Thank you Dan. Silver sound website on the other hand, could use some upgrades. The user interphase (UI) is very outdated. Everything is still manual entry and entering a song should be able to give you link you can quickly preview. Just an example of how the UI can be improved. Otherwise, everything else was pretty easy and straightforward.

Dan was on point in every aspect. He truly went above and beyond to make our day as perfect as we ever could have imagined. He didnt miss a beat, no pun intended. If we didnt have Dan, I could not imagine our day going as smoothly and as perfectly as it did. Dan made sure to do EVERYTHING that we asked for and took the lead when we had no idea what to do. We absolutely could not have picked a better DJ for our big day. Dan was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding or special event. Dan was incredible! I was so happy with his services for our wedding this past Memorial Day Weekend. He has such a great personality and was so professional, fun, and made sure we were having a great time throughout the night! Any little request we made; he made sure it happened. Dan did an awesome job playing at our wedding! Our dance floor was full all night and we constantly were getting compliments on the music selection. Dan was always checking to see if everything was going well and was flexible with music requests. It was also extremely impressive how good Dan was at pronouncing names and making sure everything was in order. Dan was the right choice for our wedding and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!!

We were really happy with our experience both with Dan Breslin and Silversound. Our wedding was May 25th, 2018 at Appleford Estate and Silversound was one of their preferred vendors. I couldnt find a bad review or experience of their work and I trusted Silversound and their DJs. Dan was helpful especially in the last week before the wedding in getting our concerns ironed out and making sure we were on the same page with the timeline and expectations. Dan was also really great on the wedding day. We didnt have a lot of the traditional ceremonial things or any planned performances that we had to set up so it was all pretty laid back and we really just needed the minimal introductions and help timing everything to the music. Dan did a great job of doing things on the fly with us on the day, and helping keep everything on track. He came up and asked us if everything was going okay throughout the night and if there was anything we wanted to hear or for him to do, which was great. He had a tough job getting everyone on the dance floor because it was a beautiful day and people were in and out of the tent getting drinks at the outdoor bar, playing games, and enjoying the weather. But I thought it was the perfect mix for our crowd and we got compliments on the great music selections throughout the night. We had a great time on the dancefloor, and just listening to the music from around the gardens and terrace. Were hard people to please in terms of musical preference, my husband especially, and Dan really listened to our ideas and made sure we were happy with the soundtrack of our day. We let people put in requests for whatever dance music they wanted, so that the people who really were interested in dancing and certain songs werent disappointed by our more selective tastes, and the combination worked out great. I would recommend Dan Breslin, he made the day run smoothly and worked with us to get the feel and sound we wanted for our day.

DJ Dan was awesome! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. He played all the key songs we asked for, and MC’ing was perfect! Dan also worked great with Jimmy at Overbrook and took care of the flow of the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. Multiple guests told us they loved the DJ and all of the songs picked.
