Fred Alvisi was great to work with! I was planning my wedding from Los Angeles, which was stressful in itself, but he was always responsive to emails, phone calls, and even meeting up when I was back in Philadelphia one week. When I spoke to Fred a few days before the wedding, I told him that he was one vendor I had absolutely no worries about - and it was true. I made my playlist of songs but told him none of the songs were must-play songs but more for him to get a feel of the type of songs I liked. I mentioned casually in our phone call two songs that my husband and I liked and, sure enough, they were the first two songs played when it was time to dance! He also played every song on my playlist and let my groomsmen and I sing 2 impromptu songs. During the dinner some of the older people were on the floor dancing to the classics. I, honestly, didnt hear him play any oldies songs during the dance portion, but I think thats because he could read the crowd really well and saw it was a majority of younger people at the wedding. Everyone raved about the reception afterward and Im thankful to Fred for keeping the party going.

I am so glad that we found Michael Kane. He was incredibly pleasant and professional throughout the entire wedding process. All of my guests raved about the music that was played and how fun it was to be on the dance floor. Our transitions from dancing to cake cutting, garter toss, etc were flawless and Michael kept everything running smoothly. Steve did an exceptional job at our reception. From the introductions to the last dance, he had everyone engaged and excited to be part of the fun. He was very creative in getting everyone on the dance floor, and he did an excellent job at setting up lighting to compliment the space. I dont even know where to begin,our selection of music for our wedding was well..a challenge, from trad. celtic bagpipes to HEAVY metal to punk to ska to REAL club hard trance to classic rock to good Ole Blue eyes and his buddies to new wave to 80s hair bands and everything in between.When we submitted our choice in music to Silver Sound, Vaughn was the pick. Ok not only did he do an amazing job at our wedding by going above and beyond and finding certain versions of a songs that we requested that are pretty much impossible to find, but found the exact songs! EVERYONE asked where did we find such an amazing wedding DJ, espically my Dad. My dad said to my husband and I, "you guys really know how to throw a party, wow Vaughn is kickin butt." Yea, I guess my dad and the rest of the guests, including My new Husband and I,forgot it was a wedding and really tore up the dancefloor. Our wedding photos of the dancefloor make the Mendenhall Grand Ballroom look like Club Mendenhall. Vaughn had guests in their 80s shaking their tail. Dan was a fantastic DJ. My husband and I were a bit overwhelmed by the song selection process for dinner and dancing sections. But Dan was great, we just picked as many as we felt we could and he filled in the rest. The party was fantastic, I was actually exhausted from all the dancing by the time it was over! He also did a great job communicating with me during the whole wedding reception, despite the fact that he was set up upstairs in the loft.

Jason was very professional, had a great personality and wonderful to work with. He was in contact with us continuously to make sure everything was set for the wedding and was very easy to get in touch with when we needed to contact him. He was also very patient with me because I changed songs more than one. He was very helpful in giving suggestions with music and lighting. The day of the wedding Jason was there on time and ready to go even after our photographer made him relocate his equipment and set up somewhere else (and again please tell Jason we are really sorry the photographer made him do that). The music and sound quality was great. Our guests loved the music and he played something for everyone. We received a lot of comments after the wedding of how good Jason was and people loved that he didnt over talk and just played good music. Also, he came up to a few times during the wedding to make sure we were ready for key things like the bouquet, garter toss etc. We would absolutely recommend him to others or use him ourselves again in the future.

Todd made our wedding reception more than we could have asked. I had a surprise gift for my husband and Todd made secrect calls and set up the whole surprise for me so I didnt have to worry about a thing. He played music that kept everyone dancing both young and old. His Bose sound system was clear from all parts of the ballroom, but didnt make it difficult to speak with our guests. He had a warm and welcoming personality that made working with him a breeze and was the one part of our wedding planning that we did not feel we had to worry about. There are a lot of elements that go into making a wedding reception fun, but DJ is right up near the top. Vaughn was perfect for us. We provided him with a list of about 40 songs and he did the rest. Jason was wonderful! Andy & I got just what we dreamed of: a packed dance floor the whole night! Jason was completely professional and kept the party going for hours. All of our requests were played and the timing of each song was perfect. Jason was able to cater to our young adult crowd with top 40 and current pop hits as well as play remixes of classics that appeal to all generations. Jason was also able to provide extra blue lighting which complimented the blue uplighting and pin spotting we had in the reception room. Dan was awesome!! If I had the chance to re-do the day again (it rained) Dan would be the first person I would book! His professionalism and personality is second to none. The Mother of the Groom/Groom song was the last slow song played during the dinner hour. When the song came to an end, Dan started it up (I cant even remember what song it was) but I remember watching in awe as people from both sides of the room rushed to the dance floor! It was awesome! He knew exactly what songs to play to keep the dance floor packed all night. Dan made a liar out of all our family members who claim they "dont dance" because they were on the dance floor all night too!! After our first meeting with Gil, we had no doubt that he would be our DJ! Gil has this "latino" blood (as the bride) and has a smile on his face at all times! Before our wedding day, Gil was also our ballroom instructor for our first dance and we got to know him a little more - he is very kind, hard worker (he would schedule a class even right after an event, if he had to) was always responsive and attentive with us. Everyone was impressed with our first dance! At the reception, we didn't specify songs for him to play, except the ones related to the wedding and Gil made the dance floor rock! He even gave our guests a Michael Jackson Thriller performance and until today, my friends talk or ask about our DJ! Kelly and I had the herculean task of putting together every single facet of our wedding. Consequently, we worried about so many things, from invitations, to the bar, to the music. However, Gaetano eased our worries at every step along the way. He was tremendously professional from the very first meeting to the end of the reception. He married that professionalism with an easy-going and friendly approach that immediately put us at ease at each point. I really can't adequately express how ecstatic and thrilled we were with the music at our wedding. Gaetano, with impressive skill, put together a mix of music that had 20-yr olds dancing with 65-yr olds. Whether it was a new song by Fergie or some Four Tops tune, he knew exactly what buttons to push to keep the mood of the party high and the atmoshpere lively. Steve was incredibly professional. He checked with us often to make sure we were pleased with the song choices & even though we asked him to make a few dedications at the last minute, he fulfilled our requests. He suggested to us an "Anniversary Dance" which was definitely one of the highlights of the night!!! Where do I start? Steve was amazing. Not only was he great when it came to picking out songs for the mood, but was a big help in so many other ways. He came up to me and my husband a few times and asked if we needed anything or if there was anything he could do. The dance floor was packed all night with great music for all ages. We have had so many people say that it was such a amazing night and we could not have done it without Steve. I have seen Steve at other weddings and will see more of him in the future. Todd did a great job with the music for our wedding. It was on St. Patrick's day and he was able to mix the irish songs we provided to him along with our playlist we created online. At one point he noticed a couple standing at the door near the gift table and grabbed my sister from the wedding party and asked if these people belonged to the party. She found me and it turned out no one knew who they were. The workers at the Mendenhall Inn we informed of the situation and made sure the couple left. This was very considerate especially since they were near the gift table. If any questions came up during the night or when certain songs should be played, Todd was able to discuss it with Amy or I and get it set up without any problems. Todd did a great job and our guests enjoyed the music and dancing. I liked how he also wanted to get his picture taken with us but never let anything distract him from playing the music and getting people to dance. His work was outstanding and I would recommend him to others. I took some of his business cards to pass them onto friends and family. I hoped he enjoyed the experience with our friends and family.

Steve did an absolutely amazing job! We knew from our first meeting with him that he was "the one" for us, however he proved it 100 times and then some at our wedding. He was set up on time, played a nice selection during cocktail hour and had our dance floor packed ALL night. He played most of the songs on my play list and added a bunch of others that fit perfect with our personalities. People have been raving about how much fun our wedding was due to the music. Mark and I don't have enough GREAT things to say about Scott! Prior to our wedding, Scott sat down with me and we discussed details and how/when songs would be played, and answered any questions we had. He was EXTREMELY professional on the wedding day and played all the songs we requested as well as adding other GREAT additions. I never felt like I had to "worry" about if the music would be okay for the happiest day of our lives. He found Mark and I at appropriate times during the reception to ask if things were going well and if any changes needed to be made. Also--Scott had all the songs we requested to be played. Which may have been difficult to find. We've had many guests tell us it was the best wedding they've been to and I accedit most of that to Scott! I would recommend Scott Pomante to ANYONE for any occasion! Thanks Scott, you made our wedding reception all that we had hoped for!!

Taz was perfect! He had a great attitude both before the wedding day and during the reception. Taz always responded to my questions and concerns and made me feel comfortable. The songs were great and he made sure everyone was dancing. The volume was at the right levels throughout the evening. No one wanted to leave and all of our friends and family said the music was great and the only bad thing was that it ended too early. Steve was incredible. I must say, even though it was my wedding and I may be slightly biased, it was the best wedding reception I have ever been to. All our guests that have contacted me since have also agreed and have already asked me for Steve’s information to hold onto for the future. Steve did a fabulous job and we could not have been happier with him. He made our reception even more perfect then I imagined. Everyone had a great time and Steve even got those people who NEVER dance out on the dance floor, which even includes my husband! Gaetano was great!! He was able to accomodate our request for Latim music and did a great job transitioning from Spanish to American music.
